Impact of Deposition Condition on the Morphology and Electrochemical Performance of Deposited F-Doped PbO2 on Graphite Substrate in Primary PbO2-Zn Battery

The impact of deposition process parameters (temperature, current density, Pb 2+ concentration, and time deposition) on morphology, electrical resistance, discharge performance a graphite/PbO 2 cathode in PbO /zinc primary battery was investigated. architecture, phase composition the deposits were studied by FESEM, EDX, XRD. AC impedance tests utilized for exploration interfacial deposits. results indicate that increment temperature decrease density leads to increased growth with mainly β phase, formation porous charge transfer resistance (R ct ). Also, an increase 30 min R is due deposit more uniform compact structure. from 0.1 mol l ‒1 solutions flower-like grains, surface, lower . However, because concentration polarization, prepared 0.5 solutions, 55 °C temperature, 40 mA cm ‒2 15 shows best performance.
